man(ila)-o-mission: victor basa

Do you ever find yourself getting pissed over models intentionally pouting their lips to flash that Zoolander moment in print and on the ramp? You wouldn't, not with hot Filipino model Victor Basa. With natural pouty lips, topnotch model form, and abs to die for, it is only fitting that Victor enters into my little shrine of Manila's scorching men. But Victor is more than just a pretty face and a salivating-over body, he's a photographer, a fashion stylist for a magazine, and an eloquent writer and music afficionado.

I remember one episode with him a few months back. He once went to our office to process papers which would allow him to borrow clothes for an editorial he was doing for a local fashion magazine. He was liasing with my other colleague in PR (the one we are trying to come to admit he's gay) and since this PR guy knows I am head over heels with Victor, he had to pretend he didn't know some questions Victor was asking him. He called me over, got introduced to Victor, felt Victor's hands shaking mine, and looked into his eyes while explaining the lending process. Man, I got jelly knees after, I swear! That was such a gay happy moment for me. Haha!
